CRRUA Passes January 2026 Operational Control Arsenic Tests

The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) passed its monthly operational control arsenic tests for January 2026, as verified by an independent laboratory. CRRUA provides water and wastewater services to Sunland Park and Santa Teresa, NM.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Maximum Contaminate Level (MCL) for arsenic is 10 parts per billion (ppb).

Water service has been fully restored in the Anapra subdivision. Emergency repairs have been completed, and service is operating normally.

WATER SERVICE RESTORED: McNutt Road between Mimbre Drive and Luna Drive

Water service has been restored along McNutt Road between Mimbre Drive and Luna Drive following repairs to a water main.

Residents may notice temporary discoloration. If this occurs, please run cold water for several minutes until it clears.

SERVICE RESTORED: Scheduled Water Service Interruption: Riverview Ct Area

Water service has been restored to the Riverview Ct area following the completion of scheduled repairs.

Some residents may experience temporary water discoloration. If this occurs, please run cold water for several minutes until the water clears.

CRRUA thanks residents for their patience while this necessary work was completed.

 

Water System Maintenance Notice: Mesa Verde Dr. Area

Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) will be conducting water valve maintenance in the area surrounding Mesa Verde Dr., affecting the subdivision shown on the attached map.

During this work, residents may experience a brief interruption in water service. Some homes may also notice temporary water discoloration. This is a normal result of system maintenance and should clear after running the tap for a short period.

CRRUA crews will work to complete the maintenance as efficiently as possible and minimize impacts to customers. Thank you for your patience.

Water service has been fully restored.

Thank you to our dedicated CRRUA team for their quick response in completing repairs.

Residents may notice temporary discoloration as water flows return to normal. This is due to naturally occurring minerals in the system and should clear up shortly. Running cold water for a few minutes can help speed up the process.
