The Sunland Park Fire Department is conducting routine hydrant flushes today in the Futurity Drive area.

The actions are not expected to impact water pressure, and customers may notice temporary water discoloration caused by the disturbance of naturally occurring minerals in the distribution system.

CRRUA recommends waiting until the water runs clear before washing laundry. The discoloration should clear within 24 hours. If it persists, customers should run cold water for several minutes until it clears.
