As service is restored, customers may notice temporary water discoloration caused by naturally occurring minerals in the distribution system. CRRUA recommends waiting until the water runs clear before washing laundry. The discoloration should clear within 24 hours. If it persists, customers should run cold water for several minutes until it clears.
