Now that water service is restored, customers may notice discoloration due to naturally occurring minerals in the distribution system. CRRUA recommends waiting for the water to become clear before washing laundry. The discoloration should disappear within 24 hours. If it does not, customers should run cold water for several minutes.

Equipment Management

Deactivate automatic ice production units and manually bypass home filtration systems before 4:00 p.m. to eliminate mechanical damage associated with system depressurization.

System Testing & Restoration Parameters

A precise restoration timeline will be provided once crews assess the condition of the line. Water service will remain suspended until repairs are finalized.
