Project Recap: Meadow Vista Infrastructure Repair

Completed: March 11, 2026

Operational Transparency & Results

Between March 9 and March 11, 2026, the Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) successfully completed a scheduled water main repair in the Meadow Vista subdivision. This project was conducted overnight to minimize service disruptions for local residents, schools, and businesses.

As part of CRRUA’s Proactive Safety Protocol, a precautionary boil water advisory was issued for the duration of the project. This measure was implemented as a standard industry best practice to ensure the integrity of the water system during depressurization and repair.

Following the mechanical completion of the repair, water samples were collected and analyzed by an independent laboratory. Results verified that the system remained in full compliance with all New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) and federal regulatory standards. The advisory was officially lifted on March 11 at 11:23 a.m.
